CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rockwell Collins has reached an agreement to sell its Rollmet product line to Precision Castparts Corp. The sale is expected to be completed in the fiscal fourth quarter, subject to customary conditions to closing.

“This divestiture will also allow Rockwell Collins to focus more resources on growing our core markets.”

The Rollmet business provides seamless alloy and stainless steel pipes and propulsion system components for the energy, petrochemical and defense industries.
