Transplace Lean Six Sigma Program Honored with Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center Award for Excellence

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services (TMS) and logistics technology, was honored with the Award for Excellence by the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC). Russ Aikman, program manager for Lean Six Sigma (LSS) at TMAC, presented Transplace President and CEO Tom Sanderson with the award during the third party logistics’ (3PL) ninth annual Shipper Symposium in Dallas.

Transplace recently began a new wave of LSS training and currently has eight certified black belts with five in progress. The company also has 29 certified green belts with an additional 27 in progress.
