Web Services from MISUMI USA Save Time, Increase Efficiency in Machine Design, Manufacturing and Assembly
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), recently introduced two new, easy to use Web services – the Modular Assembler, and AutomationMaterials.com.
Both online services were developed to speed up and simplify the process of selecting, specifying and ordering a number of components the firm supplies to OEMs of industrial machinery and factory automation equipment and systems. At ATX Canada 2011, product engineers will offer demonstrations of both Web services at MISUMI booth #939.
MISUMI’s Modular Assembler Website groups together various functional parts frequently used in machine designs and offers them in conveniently packaged modules. Currently offered are about 46 modules designed for Rotary/Linear Motion, Positioning/Detecting, Retention, and Connection applications.
Once the modules have been selected, customers can access 2D and 3D views, download native CAD drawings, and order the sets using MISUMI’s eCatalog and Web Ordering System. Engineering, design assistance and technical support are readily available to users if needed. To access MISUMI’s new Modular Assembler site, visit http://us.misumi-ec.com/contents/mech/modular/.
AutomationMaterials.com offers an innovative new resource that helps machine builders, tool shops, purchasing agents, and industrial plant and product design engineers to quickly select, specify, quote and order MISUMI’s configurable Metal and Resin Plates. The precision-machined blank plates are available in over 30 different materials and can be ordered in sizes ranging from 20mm to 2,500mm, with dimensions configured to within 0.1mm.
