GUADALAJARA, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V., (NYSE:PAC; BMV:GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) reported today that in compliance with the preventive measure declared by the Mercantile Court of the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, in defense of its fundamental rights and based on Article 17 of the Mexican Constitution, it has initiated a protection proceeding in federal court in order to defend its by-laws. This complaint, filed in response to certain actions by the Mexican Banking and Securities Commission (the “CNBV”), was admitted by the court after proper notification on July 20, 2011 and is pending resolution.
