MISUMI Adds New Positioning Stages to Line of Low-Cost Standard Precision Positioning Solutions
SCHAUMBURG, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), has announced the addition of three new Standard Precision Positioning Stages to its comprehensive selection of low-cost positioning solutions.
MISUMI’s Standard Precision Positioning Stages combine streamlined functionality with precision levels acceptable for a great many automation-related applications – at prices 20 to 50 percent lower than typical high precision positioning devices. Standard Precision Stages provide adequate levels of precision relative to straightness, parallelism, and parallelism of motion. They are ideal for use as adjustment units in assembly, inspection and processing instruments and jigs used by discrete and process OEMs across a wide range of industries.
The three new Positioning Stages include:
- Standard Precision Dovetail Slide Feed Screw – a positioning mechanism consisting of two precision ground flat surfaces sliding against each other. The new models feature fine-feed dovetail slide stages with 0.5 mm travel per rotation. Product versions include: X-Axis Stages (XFEX), XY-Axis Stages (XYFES) and Z-Axis Stages (ZFES), with each offered in a choice of models based on clamping position, travel distance and allowable load.
- Standard Precision Cross-Roller, Low Profile (XYCRSC) – a highly accurate, low profile positioning guide incorporating two cross-rollers connecting upper and lower plate. The device can perform finely tuned adjustments in 0.1 mm increments, with selectable micrometer head (head positions include center, standard and reversed).
- Standard Position Rotary Stages (RTRS) – a rotary stage that provides simple wide angle adjustments, as well as fine-tuned adjustment with standard or reversed position micrometer head.
All three of the new products ship in just three (3) days.
