Dépèche transmise le 21 juillet 2011 par Business Wire
WILLIAMSBURG, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New River Kinematics, the Williamsburg, Virginia based metrology software provider, announced a 75% revenue increase for the first six months of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. The increase was fueled by large Aerospace orders in both the U.S. and Europe.
“The use of metrology is increasing rapidly in Europe & Asia. With the continual enhancements of our software SpatialAnalyzer, the day to day operations of our customers become more streamlined. These types of efficiencies eventually lead to an increased number of SA users.”
NRK President Paul Collins said, “Customers are responding to the advanced capabilities, consistency and ease of use of SpatialAnalyzer (SA). The need for accuracy in measurement and reporting regardless of the instrument being used is increasing and becoming more critical in manufacturing of all types. SA allows companies the flexibility of using different instruments for different measurement requirements…thus allowing our customers to standardize on their software.”
NRK International sales growth continues to be strong, accounting for 45% of overall company year to date revenue. The vast majority of this growth is centered in Europe and Asia.
Rick Cole, Director of International Business Development for NRK, added, “The use of metrology is increasing rapidly in Europe & Asia. With the continual enhancements of our software SpatialAnalyzer, the day to day operations of our customers become more streamlined. These types of efficiencies eventually lead to an increased number of SA users.”
New River Kinematics is a leading provider of Portable Metrology software in the U.S. and 30 countries around the world.
