Proto Labs Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

MAPLE PLAIN, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Proto Labs, Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) relating to a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. All shares of the common stock to be sold in the offering will be offered by Proto Labs. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not been determined.

Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. William Blair & Company, L.L.C. and Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC are acting as co-managers for the offering. The offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.
