Saab Receives Order from Norrlandsflyg

LINKÖPING, Sweden--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Defence and security company Saab has received an order from Norrlandsflyg AB, who are purchasing technical services for their helicopter fleet through a call-off contract.

Norrlandsflyg AB are responsible for all contracted Swedish sea rescue operations on behalf of the Swedish Maritime Administration and is responsible for the helicopter ambulance operations in the Västra Götaland region. The company have a number of Sikorsky S-76 rescue helicopters.
The order from Norrlandsflyg means that Saab will provide certified technicians and mechanics.

Saab already has a contract with Scandinavian Air Ambulance, which has similar operations in Sweden and Finland.
