America II Electronics Kicks Off Quality Symposium
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--America II Electronics, Inc., one of the world’s largest independent distributors of semiconductors and passive components, is hosting the first two Quality Symposium conferences of the year in Los Angeles and San Jose, California. Throughout the event, attendees will hear from America II senior management, industry experts, and executives from organizations such as IDEA (Independent Distributors of Electronics Association) and Premier Semiconductor Services.
“One of the key messages at the Quality Symposium is ‘you’re not alone.’ There are lots of companies facing the same challenges, and we want to educate them on ways to leverage the latest technology and trends in the area of quality assurance.”
“Securing your supply chain should be a top priority,” said America II Electronics’ President Jim Magee. “Our new Quality Symposium will provide OEM and EMS companies with valuable advice, best practices, peer-to-peer networking and exclusive engagement with industry experts. If you’re a Quality Manager, Component Engineer, Materials Manager, Purchasing Manager, or Supply Chain Manager, you will benefit greatly from the content that will be presented.”
The event will provide attendees with insight into the latest quality practices, while exploring ways to address challenges in the channel. The Quality Symposium kicks off in Los Angeles on October 4, 2011, followed by a stop in San Jose on October 6, 2011. Additional dates and cities will be added soon.
“Quality issues are forcing many OEM and EMS companies to re-evaluate their business practices,” added Magee. “One of the key messages at the Quality Symposium is ‘you’re not alone.’ There are lots of companies facing the same challenges, and we want to educate them on ways to leverage the latest technology and trends in the area of quality assurance.”
