Government Computer News Selects Falcon’s SSG-RP™ Series Ultra-Wide Temperature UPS for Product of the Month
IRWINDALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Falcon Electric, Inc., (www.FalconUPS.com) an award-winning manufacturer of online uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs), frequency converters and precision ac regulators, today announced that Government Computer News (GCN) has selected Falcon’s SSG-RP 1kVA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) as the Product of the Month for August 2011.
“Our SSG-RP UPS is uniquely designed for harsh temperature environments, which makes it perfect for use in industrial, factory floor or any other application where high-temperature survivability is essential.”
In GCN’s article entitled, “Where will you be when the lights go out,” GCN’s lab director, John Breeden II said, “Depending on where in the world you might need an uninterrupted power supply, the SSGKRP-1 from Falcon Electric might be the only choice you have. It’s a UPS with brains and brawn – and more than a little endurance. It’s kind of like the Navy SEAL of the UPS world, which is why we chose it as our GCN product of the month for August.”
Falcon’s UL listed 1 to 3kVA SSG-RP UPS features a true regenerative double-conversion online design to provide the highest level of protection against the widest spectrum of power problems. The SSG-RP UPS offers features such as the ability to withstand extreme temperature ranges (-30°C to +65C) and operate in harsh power environments. The robust units also include wide temperature range, hot-swappable batteries and the ability to be configured as a frequency converter for use in worldwide power applications.
“We are very pleased that GCN has recognized our SSG-RP Series UPS,” said Ron Seredian, vice president of marketing for Falcon Electric. “Our SSG-RP UPS is uniquely designed for harsh temperature environments, which makes it perfect for use in industrial, factory floor or any other application where high-temperature survivability is essential.
