Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico Reports Passenger Traffic Decrease of 5.0% for July 2011

GUADALAJARA, Jalisco, Mexico--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) (“the Company” or “GAP”) announced today preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of July 2011 compared to traffic figures for July 2010.

During July 2011, total terminal passengers decreased 5.0% compared to the previous year. Domestic passenger traffic decreased 5.8%, while international passenger traffic decreased 3.1% compared to July 2010.

Material Events for the Month

During July, it is important to note that several airlines initiated routes covering the market previously operated by Grupo Mexicana de Aviación and serving the demand resulting from this carrier’s exit, such as: Aeromexico with the Guadalajara – San Francisco and Guadalajara – Sacramento routes.

In addition, the Company would like to note new routes initiated by various airlines, such as:

  • Aguascalinete – Los Angeles
• Aeromexico with the route:
