Dépèche transmise le 16 août 2011 par PRNewswire
LONDON, August 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ --
Senior Air Force personnel from UK, US, OCCAR, Poland, Brazil and Belgium are gathering at the 8th Annual Military Aviation Repair and Maintenance meeting to discuss how to increase efficiency of maintenance and parts supply whilst tackling the problems associated with industry reliance and military-industry relationships. Implementing lifecycle management and the adaptations required as aircraft life expectancy and fleet age increases and budgets tighten is also going to be a major discussion at the meeting.
As the MRO strategy is going to be a key theme at the event, the UK MoD Chinook and C-17 Project Teams will be giving an insight in to their successfully implemented partnering strategies of their programmes and how they successfully worked with Boeing and the USAF as well as focusing on alternative MRO strategy through case studies and how these principles can be applied to enhance your MRO strategy. In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Ferreira of the Brazilian Air Force will be giving details of how they have developed a fresh take on their MRO strategy and the benefits we can take from this.
Bruno Delannoy, who is the A400M programme director (OCCAR) explains the strategy for the A400M and how to achieve seamless entry in to service. Furthermore, keynote speakers including Colonel Adam Baginski and Colonel Olgierd Wieczorek of the Polish Air Force will be briefing delegates on repair techniques and procedures in connection with lifecycle management and also a look in to the future plans on how to improve this.
This is set to be a unique opportunity for the aviation repairs community to learn from leading Air Forces on how to achieve efficient maintenance whilst keeping the budgets to a minimum.
