WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Appealing to the eyes and ears of aerospace and defense equipment engineers, Bal Seal Engineering, Inc. has posted two new digital productions to herald its participation in this week’s AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America trade event. The company’s latest video and podcast can be found in its online media room at http://mediaroom.balseal.com.
“and hopefully inspire people to bring us their own unmanned vehicle engineering challenges.”
Bal Seal, a leading global supplier of custom-engineered sealing, connecting, conducting and EMI/RFI shielding components, will exhibit in booth #2917 at the AUVSI event from August 16-19 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The company says it produced the new video, which uses photorealistic animation, sound effects and music to illustrate the role Bal Seal products play in critical aerospace and defense equipment, in an effort to give AUVSI attendees an advance look at some of the solutions it will feature there.
“We wanted to provide a kind of self-guided preview,” says Bal Seal Aerospace and Defense Market Manager James Kaura, “and hopefully inspire people to bring us their own unmanned vehicle engineering challenges.”
The company’s new audio podcast production, which represents the latest installment in its “Engineering Talk” series, is also thematically tied to the AUVSI event. It features an interview with Kaura, discussion about the worldwide growth of unmanned vehicle use in military applications, and some information about the new Bal Seal® low friction seal for optoelectronics gimbals and pods.
In addition to the posting on the company’s Website, the video can also be found on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0M_tu0pBTU. Listeners can hear the podcast and subscribe to the company’s “Engineering Talk” feed on iTunes.
