11 Lean Management Workshops for Texas Announced by the Lean Enterprise Institute

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The nonprofit Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI) will run a program of 11 lean management workshops in Dallas Nov. 15-17, 2011, on how to overcome the technical and cultural changes of implementing lean concepts in a variety of value streams, including supply chain and logistics, warehousing and distribution, offices and services, and manufacturing.
Workshops also include sessions on change agent skills, key concepts of lean, management standard work, visual management, value-stream mapping, and problem solving. The schedule for Dallas is:
Tuesday, Nov. 15

One-day workshops are $800. Two-day workshops are $1,600. Discounts of $50 to $100 are available until Oct. 16. Price includes tuition, training materials, breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day. Workshops will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Sheraton Grand Hotel DFW Airport.
