“On behalf of the Foundation and Air Liquide, I am proud of these impressive scholars and their remarkable achievements. These individuals have demonstrated an admirable commitment not only to their own education, but to their community.”
This year, a total of $30,000 was awarded to 21 students from the families of Air Liquide employees. The 2011 scholarship recipients are from across the U.S. They are: Brennan Albarado, Nicodemus Bownds, Desiree Brackett, James Camancho, Jr., Kara Eichelmann, Alexander Eklund, Danielle Healy, Murphy Hebbard, Jessica Jenkins, Hayden Legler, Amanda Lowe, Gina Merritello, Daniel Moneghan, Dominic Odom, Jennifer Perez, Chantelle Renee Prejean, Daniel Ramiréz, Catherine Spitzer, Jared Watkins, Megan Watt, and Austin Winters.

These individuals have demonstrated an admirable commitment not only to their own education, but to their community.”
Since 1993, the Foundation has helped supplement the education of 313 students and has awarded more than $1.2 million in scholarships. The scholarship program was conceived as a way for Air Liquide to recognize extraordinary achievements of the children of its employees and to help promote their education and personal development. Winners are granted scholarship awards, renewed annually by the Foundation, for undergraduate or vocational education.
Michael J. Graff, president and CEO of American Air Liquide Holdings, Inc., said: “American Air Liquide is honored to help further the development of young talent. The Foundation’s scholarship program is celebrated both as an opportunity to help fuel the future of promising young scholars and as a way of giving back to Air Liquide families and communities that contribute to the success of this company.”
