bmi Awards In-Flight Entertainment Contract to IFE Services

Leading in-flight entertainment provider will supply bmi, British Midland International, with movies, TV programmes, music and original productions such as onboard safety films.
IFE Services announced today that it has been selected by bmi, British Midland International, to meet all of the airline's in-flight entertainment (IFE) [http://www.ifeservices.com/services/in-flight-entertainment ] requirements.
From September this year, IFE Services will provide the British based airline with the latest release Hollywood movies [http://www.ifeservices.com/services/in-flight-entertainment/in-flight-movies ] , Classic and Arabic movies as well as a broad range of comedy, sports, family, drama and children's TV programmes. The global content service provider will also provide bmi with a wide selection of music [http://www.ifeservices.com/services/in-flight-entertainment/in-flight-audio ] channels with genres including dance, ambient, rock, urban, classical and relaxation. IFE Services will also work with bmi on original productions [http://www.ifeservices.com/services/production ] such as safety films and branded idents.
The bespoke in-flight entertainment content will run on a combination of analogue and digital hardware IFE systems across the airline's fleet of A319s, A320s, A321s and A330s. IFE Services will manage all of bmi's digital encoding and AVOD management [http://www.ifeservices.com/services/technical/avod-management ] requirements.
