Cathay Pacific Offers 10 Free Trips to Hong Kong in SCVNGR Sweepstakes
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Who says flying can’t be fun? Cathay Pacific is teaming up with SCVNGR to make its next sweepstakes even more interactive. Ten lucky participants will each win a roundtrip flight to Hong Kong from Chicago, Cathay Pacific’s newest destination.
“Travel is about getting out, seeing and doing things, and living life”
“Travel is about getting out, seeing and doing things, and living life,” said Dennis Owen, Cathay Pacific’s vice president, marketing, Americas. “We want people to get into that spirit for this sweepstakes. Get up, get out, and enjoy Chicago! And maybe win a free trip to Hong Kong!”
Easy, mobile challenges on SCVNGR provide iPhone and Android phone users the chance to win prizes. These include the Gateway to China challenge, where participants must visit the entrance to Chicago’s historic Chinatown to get a group photo or the Comfy Seat challenge in which participants get a photo of themselves posing by Cathay Pacific’s new Business Class seat display at Terminal 3 at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (which goes up Sept. 10th). There are more challenges at O’Hare and in the heart of Chicago, but also at other airports like Boston, New York and San Francisco. SCVNGR does require downloading a free application to complete the challenges.
But don’t fear; even couch potatoes can enter the sweepstakes by simply visiting Cathay Pacific’s Web site www.cathaypacific.com/us. The sweepstakes runs from Sep. 1, 2011 through Nov. 1, 2011, inclusive, except where noted. All terms and conditions are posted on Cathay Pacific’s Web site.
Cathay Pacific’s latest sweepstakes celebrates the recent launch of daily nonstop service from Chicago to Hong Kong. Passengers departing on CX807 will fly onboard a Boeing 777-300ER. The plane features six First Class suites, 53 Business Class seats that convert to fully flat beds and seating for 238 Economy Class passengers with personal entertainment systems.
