Kaman Aerostructures Delivers the First Aerospace Components Manufactured at Its Mexican Facility

CHIHUAHUA, México--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kaman Aerospace Group, a unit of Kaman Corp. (NASDAQ GS:KAMN), announced today that its Aerostructures Division (Kaman) has delivered the first production parts fabricated at its new state of the art manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. This facility, Kaman’s first aerospace facility in Mexico, was opened November 2010. The parts were delivered to Aernnova Aerospace Mexico, SA de CV (Aernnova) located in Querétaro, Mexico. The deliveries consisted of sheet metal detail parts to be used in the wing structures assembled by Aernnova for Hawker Beechcraft aircraft, including the King Air, Baron, and Bonanza aircraft.

Kaman and Aernnova have signed a multi-year and multi-part number preliminary agreement for the manufacture of sheet metal detail parts in support of Aernnova’s wing manufacturing operations. Additional first part number deliveries are scheduled over the next few months.
