About the Speaker
Peter Antoinette is a driving force in the growth of the Northeast region’s nanotechnology cluster as president and CEO of Nanocomp Technologies, currently the only company in the world to have developed a proven technical methodology for creating nanotube-based materials in industry-ready formats – and in an industrially relevant manufacturing environment. Antoinette co-founded Nanocomp Technologies in 2004.
Prior to starting Nanocomp, Antoinette was the president and CEO of Cambridge Research & Instrumentation, Inc., an early stage liquid crystal technology company where he commercialized optical products for telecommunications and high performance imaging systems. Previously, Antoinette spent 15 years serving Millipore Corporation in various capacities – as a vice president and general manager, and in sales, marketing and technical services. Antoinette sits on the board of directors for the New Hampshire High Technology Council, and is a member of both the National Science Foundation’s Center for High-Rate Nanomanufacturing Industrial Advisory Board and U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s Small Business Advisory Council.
