Security Magazine Names Ryder Executive as One of Industry’s Most Influential
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R), a leader in transportation and supply chain solutions, today announced that Bill Anderson, Group Director of Global Security, has been named by Security magazine as one of the industry’s Most Influential security executives. Mr. Anderson was honored with this recognition because of his role as a thought leader who has elevated public discussion around collaboration between government agencies and the private sector to improve supply chain security. He is featured in the August 2011 issue of Security magazine.

Each year, Security magazine honors top security executives, public servants and industry association executives who positively affect the security industry, their organization, their colleagues, peers and the general public. Criteria include:
- Security industry impact over the span of their career;
- Impact and influence on the profession of security;
- Business impact on one or more corporations, organizations or agencies;
- Influence of impact on policy, regulations or legislation; and
- Technology and commercial security industry impact.
