Texas State Court Judge Sets Trial Date in Litigation between American Airlines and Sabre
SOUTHLAKE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Texas State Court Judge Donald J. Cosby today set a trial date of June 13, 2012, to begin proceedings to address the litigation between American Airlines and Sabre.
“Unfortunately, AA prefers litigation to negotiation. We are ready to get back to the negotiating table at any time and hope that AA will get past its preference for litigation and join us in reaching a new agreement that meets the needs of all constituents.”
“Our agency and corporate customers have told us they’re looking for two things relative to this issue: the ability to efficiently comparison shop with full fare transparency and certainty about the ability to continue doing so,” said Chris Kroeger, senior vice president, Sabre Travel Network. “Sabre remains committed to securing a new distribution agreement with AA that provides both transparency and certainty.
