Airbus S.A.S. Selects Sabre’s Airport Data Intelligence Solution

SOUTHLAKE, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sabre Airline Solutions, the aviation industry’s largest software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, will provide Airbus S.A.S with its Airport Data Intelligence solution.

The leading aircraft manufacturer selected the product, which it will use as its primary source of passenger traffic, airline schedule and fare information, based on the quality of the data that Sabre’s Global Demand delivers. Sabre Global Demand combines market information from global distribution systems (GDSs), with more than 40 other market data sources, and unique algorithms to provide complete and comprehensive market intelligence.
Airbus S.A.S will begin using Airport Data Intelligence in the first quarter of 2012 to contribute to its market needs analysis for its commercial aircraft across the globe. The European-based company will also use Sabre’s Airport Data Intelligence as a business intelligence application to analyze key market metrics and schedule data. Using this information, Airbus will make strategic business decisions such as production and delivery timelines for each of its aircraft types.

The solution provides detailed market information including; origin and destination segments, point of sale, point of origin, length of stay and future booking data.
