Baker Promotes William Macon to Vice President

SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Michael Baker Jr., Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex:BKR), is pleased to announce the appointment of William P. Macon, to vice president overseeing Department of the Air Force programs. In this capacity, he is directly responsible for strategic planning, business development and principal-level oversight and support for all Air Force program and project execution. Macon also serves as office principal in Baker’s San Antonio, Texas, office. As office principal, Macon is responsible for the leadership and overall business management of Baker’s growing San Antonio presence.

Macon joined Baker in 2007 following a distinguished 28-year career as a civil engineer officer in the United States Air Force, retiring at the rank of Colonel. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science Degree in Systems Management from The University of Southern California. Macon is also a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
