Cytec Presents Recent Composite Developments at Innovative International Composites Summit

WOODLAND PARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cytec Industries Inc. (NYSE:CYT) today announced Carmelo Lo Faro, Vice President of Technology, Engineered Materials will be chairing a session and speaking at the Innovative International Composites Summit. The Summit is being held October 18, 19 and 20 at SUNTEC International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Singapore as part of JEC Asia 2011.
Lo Faro is chairing the summit’s Aeronautics Forum on Wednesday October 19 which focuses on advancing composite materials technology to meet growing need for more robust, higher-performing materials for primary structure aerospace applications. Lo Faro will kick off the session with his talk, entitled “Expanding Composite Adoption through Application Engineering.” This talk will showcase Cytec’s applications engineering expertise which leverages multidisciplinary competencies to synergize design, materials and manufacturing to achieve breakthroughs in composite material application.
Cytec’s Engineered Materials develops innovative composite prepregs, resins and adhesives widely used in the aerospace and high performance automotive industries. They leverage material and processing knowledge through applications engineering expertise to develop solutions to customers’ unmet needs.
