Dépèche transmise le 26 octobre 2011 par Business Wire
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines today announced that it has cancelled its flights between Denver (DEN) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN) on Thursday, Oct. 27, due to the expected impact of Hurricane Rina on the Yucatan Peninsula.
Travelers holding reservations for Flight 38 DEN-CUN or Flight 39 CUN-DEN on Oct. 27 will be moved to extra DEN-CUN and CUN-DEN flights added to Frontier’s schedule on Saturday, Oct. 29. Frontier will contact those passengers via email to provide them with updated flight information. Other customers traveling to, from or through Cancun on Frontier through Oct. 29, 2011, are urged to visit www.frontierairlines.com/traveladvisory to determine their options for rebooking travel.
The following policy applies to customers traveling to, from or through Cancun who purchased tickets on or before October 25, 2011:
- Guests whose travel has already begun may make one itinerary change. Rules and restrictions regarding standard change fees, advance purchase, day or time applications, blackouts, and minimum or maximum stay requirements have been waived. Origin and destination cities must remain the same. Changes must be made by midnight, Oct. 29, 2011, and travel completed by Nov. 12, 2011.
- Those who have not begun travel may make one change to their travel plans without a change fee or difference in fare if changed by Oct. 29, 2011, and travel occurs by Nov. 12, 2011. All travel rescheduled after Nov. 12, 2011, may be subject to higher fares if it does not meet original rule or booking class.
The airline also said that due to a winter storm in Colorado, a travel advisory remains in effect for guests scheduled to travel to, from and through Denver today. Details are available at www.frontierairlines.com/traveladvisory.
Frontier reminded travelers to make a habit of visiting the airline’s website before leaving for the airport. Customers can check the status of their flights, as well as any current travel advisories, from Frontier Airlines’ home page at FrontierAirlines.com.
