NJMEP CFO Named Winner of 2011 CFO of the Year Awards

MORRIS PLAINS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lynore DeSantis, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations of New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, Inc. (NJMEP), has been named a winner of NJBIZ’s 2011 CFO of the Year awards this week. DeSantis was honored in the Nonprofit CFO – Small category for the program organized by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premiere business news publication.

The CFO of the Year awards program celebrates New Jersey’s financial executives who “contribute to the success of the state’s economic growth and stability”. Finalists and winners were selected by an independent panel of judges in seven categories: Public Company, Private Company with revenues over $50MM, Private Company with revenues up to $50MM, Nonprofit CFO – Small (24 or fewer employees), Nonprofit CFO – Large (25 or more employees), Best Turnaround Specialist and Best Growth Manager.
The CFO of the Year winners were announced amongst the finalists at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at The Palace in Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ.
DeSantis has been with NJMEP since May, 2000. The organization works with New Jersey’s manufacturers to help them become more efficient, profitable and globally competitive.
