LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Air New Zealand today announced the release of three hilarious new internet videos starring a pair of sheep twins, Mason and Jason. These joined-up sheep twins demonstrate the comfort of the Skycouch as they enjoy a flight together in ‘Cuddle Class’.
“We’ve been huge fans of Air New Zealand’s viral videos—the Richard Simmons safety video is hilarious. We had a blast filming the new video with the sheep twins”
The Skycouch is a trio of economy seats that form a flexible space, creating a versatile area where passengers can relax and stretch out or kids can play. With the touch of a button, a footrest rises from under each of the three seats to create this flat space. Air New Zealand’s Skycouch option is available on the first 10 outboard rows of the economy cabin in its new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on flights operating between Auckland and London, via Los Angeles.
“The Mason and Jason videos showcase the versatility and comfort of the Skycouch with a sense of humor,” said Kathryn Gregory, Air New Zealand’s director of marketing – the Americas. “By enabling passengers to lie down like they would on their couch at home, Air New Zealand has redefined comfort in Economy. No wonder Mason and Jason liked to cuddle on the Skycouch!”
Mason and Jason are joined in the videos by actor David Hasselhoff and twin Playboy Playmates, Kristina and Karissa Shannon. While the sheep twins dream of carousel pony rides with the Hoff, they find themselves in love with Kristina and Karissa, until a startling turn of events dashes their hopes of true love with the joined-up babes.
“We’ve been huge fans of Air New Zealand’s viral videos—the Richard Simmons safety video is hilarious. We had a blast filming the new video with the sheep twins,” said Karissa Shannon, Playboy Playmate and model.
“Plus, we were able to enjoy the Skycouch for ourselves. It’s so comfortable that we can get our beauty sleep,” added Kristina Shannon.
Mason and Jason’s video series follows the success of the “Fit to Fly” safety video starring Richard Simmons, which has garnered more than 2.3 million views since its release in March, as well as the “On the Skycouch with Rico” series featuring guests Lindsay Lohan, David Hasselhoff and Giuliana Rancic. Air New Zealand’s videos are all available on the Air New Zealand YouTube page.
