Teledyne CML Hosts Duke of York for Composites Facility Opening

BROMBOROUGH, United Kingdom--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. announced that His Royal Highness, The Duke of York, KG officially opened the new composite manufacturing facility operated by its affiliate, Teledyne CML Group Limited, in the United Kingdom.

The 6,000 square meter composites manufacturing facility features state-of-the-art capabilities including two clean rooms, BMI-capable autoclave, 5-axis CNC router, trim shop, inspection facilities and paint shop.

Jan Hess, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Teledyne Brown Engineering and Scott Hall, vice president, Manufactured Products, Teledyne Brown Engineering participated in the ceremony. Also in attendance were the Lord-Lieutenant of Merseyside, Dame Lorna Muirhead DBE, the Mayor of and Mayoress of Wirral, members of the Household, Lieutenancy and Civic parties, and many distinguished guests.
His Royal Highness (HRH) toured the facility and met with Teledyne executives, Teledyne CML management and employees before unveiling a plaque commemorating the opening of the facility and signing a certificate to that effect.

The Composites Division manufactures a broad product range of both structural and nonstructural components and assemblies such as wing and fuselage fairings, covers and panels, nose and tail cone assemblies, floors, interior panels and fittings, ducting, etc.
