dB Control Awarded +$50 Million Five-Year Contract to Provide High-Power Transmitters for Military Airborne Systems
FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--dB Control, an established manufacturer known for its reliable, high-power microwave amplifiers, radar/electronic countermeasure (ECM) transmitters and power supplies, has been awarded a five-year contract worth over $50 million. The contract is to design and manufacture TWT-based, high-power transmitters that are to be integrated into a military airborne system. In addition to manufacturing the transmitter hardware at its secure, 40,000 square-foot facility in Fremont, Calif., the contract includes several additional items; including ongoing engineering, technical and logistical support services and data.

"In military airborne, mission-critical systems, reliable transmitters are essential for detecting potential threats quickly and accurately. In many situations, this can be a matter of life or death for military personnel," said dB Control CEO Joe Hajduk.
