(NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that its IM-PACT^TM investigative analysis software has been named “Best Intelligence Data Fusion and Collaborative Analysis Solution” by Government Security News (GSN) as part of the publication’s annual Homeland Security Awards program. IM-PACT is unique in its ability to support complex analysis needs faced by law enforcement and homeland security investigators, criminal analysts, terrorism task force teams and fusion centers (joint criminal and terrorism prevention and response centers).

Winners of the 2011 GSN Homeland Security Awards, selected by a panel of independent judges, were announced on Monday, November 14 in Washington, D.C. Overwatch earned a top honor among five finalists in its category. Category entries were judged on criteria including their ability to fill a recognized government security need, technological innovation or improvement, and flexibility of the solution to meet current and future organizational needs.
