Textron Inc. to Withdraw Chicago Stock Exchange Listing; Retains New York Stock Exchange Listing

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) today announced plans to withdraw the listing of its common stock from the Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc. Textron’s common stock will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange, its primary listing exchange.

Textron has decided to withdraw its common stock from listing on the Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc. to reduce costs and eliminate duplicative administrative requirements. The withdrawal is expected to be effective within the next month.

Textron does not believe that withdrawing its listing from the Chicago Stock Exchange, Inc. will have any impact on the liquidity of its stock. The Chicago Stock Exchange has advised the company that it will continue to trade Textron common stock on an unlisted trading privilege basis.
