Sparton Corporation today announced results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 ended June 30, 2011. The Company reported fourth quarter sales of $60.9 million, or an increase of 52%, from $40.0 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2010. Reported net loss for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 was $0.7 million or $0.07 per share, compared to net income of $2.1 million, or $0.21 per share, in the same quarter a year ago. Excluding the charges outlined in the non-GAAP reconciliations included later in this press release, fourth quarter fiscal 2011 adjusted net income was $2.9 million, or $0.28 per share, compared to adjusted net income of $0.7 million, or $0.07 per share, in the prior year quarter.
