The St. Joe Company today welcomed ITT Corporation’s mine defense business to VentureCrossings Enterprise Centre at West Bay. ITT announced that it will move into a facility to be developed and owned by St. Joe, and designed to meet ITT’s specific needs. ITT, the first corporate tenant at VentureCrossings, will lease a 105,000 square foot commercial facility which will be occupied by both office and manufacturing operations.

Frontier Airlines Reports August 2011 Traffic

Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ/NM: RJET), today reported preliminary traffic results for August 2011. Frontier’s traffic increased 2%, to 1.2 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while capacity was down 1%, at 1.4 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Frontier Airlines served 1.5 million passengers in August, a 4% increase from August 2010. August had a load factor of 90% compared to 88% in the same month last year. It was Frontier’s second consecutive record monthly load factor.

Republic Airways Reports August 2011 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for August 2011. The Company generated 2.0 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 1% decrease from the same month last year, while capacity was down 2% at 2.4 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 83,101 in August 2011, a decrease of 3% from August 2010. Consolidated load factor was 84% in August of both years. Republic Airways carried 2.9 million passengers during the month, a 2% reduction from the same month last year.

Kaman Aerostructures Delivers the First Aerospace Components Manufactured at Its Mexican Facility

Kaman Aerospace Group, a unit of Kaman Corp. , announced today that its Aerostructures Division (Kaman) has delivered the first production parts fabricated at its new state of the art manufacturing facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. This facility, Kaman’s first aerospace facility in Mexico, was opened November 2010. The parts were delivered to Aernnova Aerospace Mexico, SA de CV (Aernnova) located in Querétaro, Mexico. The deliveries consisted of sheet metal detail parts to be used in the wing structures assembled by Aernnova for Hawker Beechcraft aircraft, including the King Air, Baron, and Bonanza aircraft.
