Fitch Ratings has affirmed the 'A' rating on the state of Connecticut's (the state) approximately $7 million 2001 series B general airport revenue bonds. The state has approximately $147 million in outstanding parity long-term general airport revenue bonds, 2011 series A&B that are not rated by Fitch. The governance of Bradley International Airport (Bradley), along with five other general aviation airports, was transferred to the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (DOT), effective July 1, 2011. Bradley is and will continue to be accounted for in the separate Bradley enterprise fund.
