Watts Water Technologies, Inc. today announced results for the first quarter ended April 3, 2011. Net income per diluted share from continuing operations (EPS) for the first quarter of 2011 was $0.29. This represents a decrease of 12% as compared to $0.33 of EPS reported in the first quarter of 2010. First quarter 2011 EPS includes a negative $0.14 impact, including restructuring and other charges of $0.03 and one-time separation benefits of $0.11 related to the Company’s former Chief Executive Officer. Adjusting for these items, first quarter 2011 adjusted EPS was $0.43, compared to first quarter 2010 adjusted EPS of $0.44, a decrease of 2%.
