Satcon Technology Corporation®, a leading provider of utility-scale power conversion solutions for the renewable energy market, today announced that it has been selected by SOLON to supply twelve 1.25 megawatt (MW) Prism Platforms™ for Pacific Gas and Electric’s (PG&E’s) upcoming 15 MW ground mount installation near Fresno, CA. The project is part of PG&E’s 250 MW Utility Owned Generation (UOG) PV Program, a five-year plan for the construction of utility-owned solar power plants.
