Le calendrier estival 2011 de l'Aéroport de Francfort, qui entre en vigueur le dimanche 26 mars, comprendra un total de 4 845 départs (transport de passagers et services tout-cargo) par semaine, soit une hausse de 5,6 % par rapport au calendrier estival 2010. Le nombre total de places disponibles cet été augmentera d'environ 8,3 %, atteignant 770 000 places par semaine. Le calendrier estival 2011 de l'Aéroport de Francfort comprend 114 compagnies de transport aérien de passagers desservant 298 destinations dans 110 pays. Comptant 280 000 places disponibles sur les lignes intercontinentales de FRA - une hausse de près de 5 % - la principale passerelle de transport aérien allemande totalisera 64,5 % de la capacité totale de places proposées cette année par les 16 aéroports commerciaux coordonnés allemands sur la totalité des vols intercontinentaux.
