Redstone College, a Denver-based institution of higher learning, recently sent two student teams to compete in the Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Society’s Aviation Maintenance Skills Competition in Las Vegas. Redstone also sponsored a professional team that included three current and former faculty members. A total of 28 teams competed in the 5th annual event, which attracted international teams, domestic air carriers, military teams and nine aviation maintenance school teams.

Silver Airways is spreading its wings in Montana with the addition of new weekday service to Helena from Billings. This expansion brings Silver Airways Montana service to nine cities and marks the carrier’s first route in Montana to operate outside of its Essential Air Service (EAS) contract with the U.S. Department of Transportation.
