Alabama Aircraft Industries, Inc. , a leading provider of aircraft maintenance and modification services to military customers, today announced its operating results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2009. Net income for the third quarter of 2009 was $0.5 million, or $0.11 per share, compared to a net loss for the third quarter of 2008 of $1.7 million, or $0.42 per share. Revenue from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2009 was $12.6 million versus revenue of $6.8 million in the third quarter of 2008, an increase of 85.5%. Loss from continuing operations for the third quarter of 2009 was $0.1 million compared to a loss from continuing operations of $1.1 million for the third quarter of 2008.
