Garmin International Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. , the global leader in satellite navigation, announced today that it is in the midst of a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) program that will allow installation of Garmin’s G1000 integrated flightdeck on the Cessna CitationJet (Model 525, serial numbers 0001-0359). Once completed, the STC will pave the way for CitationJet owners to visit a Cessna Owned Citation Service Centers for installation of the Garmin G1000 avionics suite.
