Republic Airways Holdings Inc. today reported operating revenues of $325.3 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, a 10.6% decrease, compared to $363.9 million for the same period last year. The Company reported net income of $2.2 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2009, compared to $20.2 million reported in the prior year’s first quarter. The Company also reported earnings per diluted share of $0.06, compared to $0.55 for the same period last year.

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for April 2009. The company generated 850.0 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 2.8% decrease from the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) decreased 2.0%. Block hours were 59,464 in April 2009, an 8.4% decrease from April 2008. Load factor was 75.3% versus 75.9% in April 2008. A total of 1,686,742 passengers were carried during the month, a 0.9% increase from the same month last year.
