Travelocity’s Memorial Day data report shows that the overall average airfare for travel on Memorial Day weekend, including both domestic and international bookings, is as low as airfare from 2006, despite an inflation rate of approximately 5 percent since then. According to Travelocity’s data, the overall average airfare for Memorial Day is $357, down 12 percent from last year, with international fares taking the steepest decline.
