Republic Airways Reports February 2012 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for February 2012. The Company generated 1.5 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was 8% higher than the same month last year, on an increase in capacity of 5% to 2.0 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 73,277 in February 2012, an increase of 3% from February 2011. Consolidated load factor was 74% in February of 2012, versus 72% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.2 million passengers during the month, which was 5% higher than the prior year.

Frontier Airlines Reports February 2012 Traffic

Frontier Airlines today reported preliminary traffic results for February 2012. Frontier’s traffic increased 8%, to 0.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while capacity was slightly increased, at 1.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Frontier served 1.0 million passengers in February, a 4% increase from February 2011. For the month, Frontier had a load factor of 82% compared to 77% in the same month last year. It was Frontier’s eighth consecutive record monthly load factor.
