Anglais Frontier Airlines Reports October 2011 Traffic

Frontier Airlines, a subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ/NM: RJET), today reported preliminary traffic results for October 2011. Frontier’s traffic increased 2%, to 1.0 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), while capacity was down 3%, at 1.2 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Frontier Airlines served 1.2 million passengers in October, a 2% increase from October 2010. October had a load factor of 88% compared to 83% in the same month last year. It was Frontier’s fourth consecutive record monthly load factor.

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for October 2011. The Company generated 1.7 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), which was 3% lower than the same month last year, while capacity was down 4% at 2.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 76,500 in October 2011, a decrease of 4% from October 2010. Consolidated load factor was 82% in October of 2011, versus 81% in the same month last year. Republic Airways carried 2.6 million passengers during the month, a 5% reduction from the same month last year.
