Republic Airways Reports May 2009 Traffic

Republic Airways Holdings , today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2009. The company generated 851.0 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 5.2% decrease from the same month last year, while available seat miles (ASMs) dropped 4.0% to 1.12 billion. Block hours were 58,467 in May 2009, a 10.3% decline from May 2008. Load factor was 75.8 versus 76.8% in May 2008. Approximately 1.7 million passengers were carried during the month, a 1.4% decrease from the same month last year.
